Wow, time flies!
The first week of school I had my students do this great Craftivity from Corinna and I haven’t blogged about it yet!
One of my favorite bloggers had a fun freebie that I was excited to use with my class.
I printed up a six copies of Surf Buddies on card stock. I told the kids that it was their template. I wanted them to be able to trace the pieces but add their own things like hair. (If I were doing it with lower grade kids, I’d give them the template as is.) I love the way they turned out. I did an example, but they went for it and really made it their own.
That is my example on the left. When my husband came in for |

Aren’t they adorable? I’m not sure what I’ll be putting on this bulletin board, but they make an awesome border!
